György Árvai is an interdisciplinary visual artist, stage and production designer and set designer whose practice has connected theatre, film, installation, performance and independent visual art for more than four decades.

Since 1985, he has created visual and stage designs for theatre and film productions, alongside exhibition installations since 1987. In his work, space is not simply a setting, but an active element of the visual concept and narrative.
