Edit Szűcs is a costume and fashion designer and visual artist whose practice moves between theatre, film, contemporary art and performance. Her artistic approach explores the relationship between body, clothing and identity. She considers costume as a form of “body mask” — an outer layer that transforms the body, shapes the character and influences its relationship with the surrounding world.

Alongside her work in theatre and independent art, she has designed costumes for numerous film productions, including the Academy Award-winning Son of Saul.
